Mrs. Josephine M. DiPaolo, age 77 of Lake Mary, Florida passed away on Friday, May 29th in Longwood, Florida.
Mrs. DiPaolo was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 10, 1937 to the late Joseph and Louise Mercurio. She was married to Dr. Peter T. DiPaolo on April 28, 1962 with whom she raised two children, Louis DiPaolo and Micheal DiPaolo. She graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1955.
Josephine held various administrative positions throughout her life, but her most endearing contribution was being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a loyal wife and loving mother who instilled moral values in her children of love, compassion, self-respect, integrity and discipline. She was always the family caregiver, helping anyone who needed assistance including her friends, and was also a "second" mother to many family friends and their children.
She is survived by her children; Micheal DiPaolo, Louis DiPaolo and his wife Norma; and two grandchildren: Joseph DiPaolo and Louis DiPaolo Jr; and her brother Augustine Mercurio.
