Obituary

On Thursday, November 19, 2020 the Lord decided to call his Angel, Yvonne Stinnette home where she would no longer be in pain from her illness.

Ms. Stinnette is survived by her husband of 43 years, Stefan Middleton, and her children Kadijah Stinnette, Mecca Stinnette, Meliki Stinnette, Alshakir Stinnette, Elijah Middleton, Raheim Middleton. She is predeceased by her daughter Aeysha Stinnette.

Yvonne was born in Queens, NY to dearly departed Regina Adams and Stanley Adams. She graduated from Bryant High School in Queens, NY and worked for Bulova Watch Company in Jackson Heights, Queens. She married dearly departed Tarriff Shabazz Stinnette in 1965 and they moved to Brooklyn NY on Bushwick Ave. for many years. They divorced after many years and she spent the remainder of her life with the love of her life Stefan Middleton. She moved several times but spent many years in Jamaica Queens. During her years in Queens she held many jobs, but always cherished being a housewife to her husband and children.

In 1995 she followed her oldest sister Yvette Sharpe to Orlando Florida. Yvette and Yvonne were inseparable and spent many good times in Florida, soaking up the sun at many Florida beaches, enjoying movies, dining, going to the spa and simply soaking and swimming at the pool at Yvette's house. Yvonne also helped Yvette by working at the family Car Wash business in Orlando. Yvonne loved the beach and natural scenic environments to meditate and soak up the spiritual world. Family always remarked at how connected she was to her spirituality.
