Yvette Crespo, 63, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on June 5, 2023. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 23, 1959 to Edgar and Yolanda Crespo.

Yvette was a classically trained artist, known best for her detailed work with oil paints on canvas of nature. Early in her life, she had a passion for Fox Terriers which she bred and showed. Yvette was a very nurturing and loving person, especially to children and animals. This led her to her career choice as a preschool teacher and a home life filled with stray animals that found a second chance at life. She was also an author and illustrator of children's books she created and shared with her students and children.

Yvette is survived by her daughters, Nicole and husband Joe, Gina and husband Joe; granddaughter, Zoe; siblings, Yvonne, and Edgar; and companion Robin. She was predeceased by her parents, Yolanda and Edgar Crespo.

The family would like to thank the hospice nurses and staff members for taking care of Yvette in her final months.
