William Sam passed away May 20th, 2025, at the age of 80 in Orlando FL. He was born in Buxton Village Guyana on March 23, 1945, to the late Clarice Sam and the late Daniel Paul.

He was one of eleven children. He served in the Guyana Defense Force for three years. After he completed his military service, he came to the United States to continue his education. He graduated from RCA Institute in 1971. He was a college lecturer for several years before starting his 30-year career in Information Technology. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 27 years Brenda.

He is survived by his children Dexter, Natalie, Hubert, Lexine, Sharon, Deanna, and Kurt; sisters Ingrid, Caroline, and Marlyn; and many nieces and nephews.

The viewing is at 11am followed by a memorial service at noon on June 10th, 2025, at DeGusipe Funeral Home 9001 N. Orlando Avenue Maitland FL 32751.
