Obituary

William "Bill" Anthony Pfingsten, 75, of Sanford, Florida passed into heaven on August 15, 2021. Bill was born in Canton, Ohio, the son of William and Ann (Klus) Pfingsten. He attended Lower Elementary School and East Palestine Jr./Sr. High School, graduating in 1964. Bill attended Ohio University for two years and then transferred to Youngstown State, where he graduated in 1972 with a BS in Industrial Engineering.

Bill worked in Youngstown and Akron as a Distribution Engineer from 1972 to 1978 and then to Orlando, securing an engineering position at Martin Marietta. He met his wife, Nancy, in 1979 and they were married in 1980. They have three sons, Ian (38, Meagan Pfingsten of Gainesville, FL), Matthew (35, Katie Pfingsten of Orlando, FL), and Bradley (31 of Longwood, FL).

In 2000, Bill transitioned from engineering to a career in sales, before retiring in 2010. He went on to fulfill his lifelong dream of opening a European Car Clinic called EuroCar Clinic, Inc. Bill had a passion for high-end cars, especially BMWs. He also loved to play golf and that is where his hot temper was best applied.

Bill was an independent thinker, questioning everything. Bill had a tender heart for those genuinely in need. Bill's desire to find his own cure for cancer, in his own personal research, gave him the will to fight vigilantly.

In addition to his devoted wife and sons, Bill is survived by many loving friends, extended family members, and his three granddaughters, Bowie (8 of Gainesville, FL), Madelyn, (8 of Orlando, FL), and Scarlett (2 of Orlando, FL).

Due to COVID restrictions, Bill's Celebration of Life will be attended by only family and invited close friends. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10AM, St. Peter Episcopal Church, 700 Rinehart Rd, Lake Mary, FL 32746. Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.
