William O Pearson favorably known as Bill, 78 passed away Saturday September 9th 2023 with his wife and family by his side. He was born in Danville Illinois on December 30 1944 to Oral Austin Pearson and Gladys Louise Jennings. He was the only son of 4 children, Bill had 3 sisters Phillis, Mary, and Wilma. He served in the army from 1964-1969, and was a Private E-1, stationed in Alaska during the Vietnam War. Bill worked for the city of sanitation in St. Petersburg as a diesel mechanic for over 30 years. He enjoyed ATVs, camping and nature. Bill married in 1977 to his beautiful wife Michele Pearson, they spent 46 happily married years together. Bill was a dedicated family man, together they had 3 children, 6 great grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Michele Pearson, his daughter Sanja Hicks, his two sons Philip Pearson and Tony Pearson, his 5 granddaughters Meaghan Kleinatland, Brittany Barker, Hayley Pearson, Tabitha Perez, and Alex Waller and his 3 grandsons Christopher Udzinski, Ian Leach, and Tyler Waller. He is also survived by his 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Oral Austin Pearson and Gladys Louise Jennings, and his sisters Mary and Wilma.
