Obituary

William Patrick Norton Junior age 59 passed away on January 14, 2024, after a 2 year battle with ALS. He is survived by his wife (Shelly), three children (Nick and Cheyenne, Breanna and Alex & Zack), mother (Jean), brother (Chris & Teresa) and sister (Nancy & Jim) by his side.

Bill was born in Boston Massachusetts on October 26, 1964, the son of William Patrick Norton Senior and Jean Caruso.

Bill truly enjoyed life especially being able to spend time with his wife and family including his three beautiful granddaughters (Collins, Kensen and Vivana Rose). He was so proud when he became a grandfather and loved each and every moment, he got to spend with them. His eyes and smile got even bigger when he heard their voices calling him "Papa". He was an extremely caring and loving person who was loved dearly by so many friends and family. He was an inspiration with everyone who came in contact with him. He had a knack for making each and every person feel so special, and he touched so many hearts with long lasting memories.

Bill's passion was playing and watching football (grade school, high school and college), hunting, fishing and traveling the world with his wife, family and good friends. He worked hard building his own Insurance Company and a founding member and partner in DMK Financial Group, a national broker dealer headquartered in Florida.

A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, ALS Association of East Central Florida and all his local doctors and nurses in the Lake Mary, Maitland and Winter Park Florida. Over the past two years many of them became much more than just health providers. The compassion and care Bill received was from the heart with conviction.

Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue Maitland, Florida 32751 from 6pm-8pm.
