William Joseph Meyers, age 69, passed away on March 17, 2015. He was a long time resident of Sanford, FL. He was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1945. He was a proud veteran having served in the Army. He received a purple heart because of his service in the Vietnam War. Bill worked in sales and was an avid fisherman. William is predeceased by his parents Stiles and Gwendolyn Meyers, his brother Stiles and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by his sister Nancy Kolvig (Robert) and daughters Christine DeTardo and Wendy Coomes (Julian), and his son Bill Pond. Mr. Meyers is also survived by his grandchildren, Owen, Alexandra, Max, Gavin and Evan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 12:00 with a reception immediately following.
