William (Will) Rogers Merritt was born on December 28,1955 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
William was a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida where he worked for thirty-one years until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Emily Rogers Merritt; brother Wayne and sister Nancy Hines Kelly.
He is survived by his spouse Kathryn, his brother James (married to Sue Merritt), his sister Linda (married to Sam Self), step children Michelle, Kevin and Karen (married to Antoine Sims), grandchildren Wesley, Derrick and Kayla and his nieces Roxey Wilkins, Anna Burkett and nephews Stephen, Ashley, Bradley and Carey.
