Obituary

William Alvin Leonard, born on March 18, 1923 in Cransesville, PA died on January 11, 2020 in Longwood, FL.

William graduated from Albion High School in 1942 and was employed by the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad. He also drove a school bus and worked at Lehman's Orchard. He retired from the B&LE Railroad in 1979 and then moved to Orlando, FL.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Clifford and Elsie (Vandervort) Leonard, his wife of 42 years, Dorothy M. (Robinson) Leonard, his sons William and Robert, brother John, sisters Lucille Hosack and Ruth Merritt. He is survived by his sister, Jean Werger Sapala of Conneaut Lake, PA, daughters Betty Morris of Orlando, Carol Leonard of Sanford, and son Larry (Janet) Leonard of Casselberry, FL

Mr. Leonard was a member of the Parkside Church of the Nazarene in Longwood, FL.

Visitation, Monday, January 20, 2020 from 10:00AM to 11:00Am;
Funeral Service with Pastor Wayne Searls officiating; special music by Paul and Linda Braley; Monday, January 20, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
Burial immediately following at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL, 34734
