William B. Lange "Bill" 77, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away May 5, 2016.
Bill was born in Plainfield, N.J. on October 17, 1938. He resided in New Jersey and enlisted in the Marine Corps. in 1958.
He moved to Florida in 1971, where he earned an A.A. degree from the St. Petersburg College and completed his education, earning a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
Bill was a veteran who proudly served his country in the Marine Corps for 13 years with two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He also served in the Army Reserve as an instructor for 19 years and six years in retired status.
While in the service Bill received many medals and awards.
He retired from the Post office in 1998 after 20 years of service.
He enjoyed life and was an avid golfer.
Bill was predeceased by his father, Stanley Lange and his mother, Virginia Herrmann Lange.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Theresa, a brother, Thomas, and sister, Patricia Watson, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He attended Transfiguration Catholic Church and was a member of The Mended Hearts Inc., Chapter 43 of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 21st at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville, N.J.
A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 210 Route 206N, Sandyston, N.J.
Interment will follow at the Hainesville Cemetery, Route 675, Hainesville, N.J.
