William (Bill) was born in Bridgeport, Ct on March 6, 1931. His parents were Carl Kleinknecht, Sr. and Ruth Morgan Kleinknecht and he was one of 6 siblings. During his time in Bridgeport, William worked in his father business at Barrett Roofing and Supply Company of Bridgeport. On April 17, 1953, William married Margaret Ann Obbagy and they had three children:
Karen (Winter Garden, FL), William, IV, (Hendersonville, NC) and Judith, (Maitland, FL) and grandchildren.

In 1971, the family moved to Maitland, FL where William started his own roof repair company, Cover All Roofs, Inc. Later in life, William went to work for Orange County Public Schools and upon his retirement, he and Margaret began an interesting career selling antiques and other items at various flea markets in Central Florida. Bill was known for his keen sense of humor.

During his life, he always had a passion for automobiles and old collectable toys. He spent many hours restoring toys and countless hours putting together models to add to his collection. He also restored a 1963 Volkswagens Beetle to show room perfection.

Bill was a humble man with a heart full of love and compassion. He always believed in God and shared his faith with everyone he met.

His daughter Judy, son-in-law Bill and grandson Josh had the honor to be his caretakers during the last 3.5 years of his life. Judy said she will treasure every moment and memory. He was a very precious human being and will never be forgotten.
