William Donald "Donnie" Henderson, Jr., age 58, of Osteen, Florida entered into eternal rest on May 16th, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, sister, daughter, nephews, several dear friends he considered family and countless additional friends. Donnie was the devoted father of Tiffany A Henderson, beloved son of William Donald Henderson, Sr. and Sandra Hunter; step-son of Ronald Hunter. Much-loved brother of Kimberly Henderson-Acosta and loyal uncle to Adam Howington and Chase Howington. Uncle to Danielle Fleming, cousin to Sandi J Wallace and Michael Hicks. He also had a host of additional family & friends left to treasure his memory. Preceded in death by his role-model and grandfather William Douglas "Doug" Henderson, loving grandmother Ruby Dix Henderson, Aunt Carol Henderson, caring grandmother Daphne Coven & grandfather Horace Steppe.

Donnie Henderson was born on February 25, 1959 in Fairfax County, VA to Sandra Faye Hunter (Henderson/Steppe) and William Donald Henderson, Sr. He was the retired Owner & CEO of Henderson Design/Build in Arlington, VA for 25+ years. Donnie was a United States Coast Guard registered merchant marine, retired owner and Captain of Reelentless Charters out of Ocean City, MD. A life-long Harley-Davidson enthusiast he spent his time after retirement traveling throughout the United States, riding his Harley, having the time of his life and making new friends. After 53 years in the Washington DC Metro area Donnie found his home-base in Osteen, Florida close to some of his dearest friends.

His family and friends will forever remember him as a loving father, loyal to his family and giving friend. He leaves behind a large group of friends that will greatly miss him. His smile and humor always seemed to come from deep within his heart and his joy couldn't help but rub off on anyone around him. Donnie may be gone but never forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life for Donnie Henderson will be held in Florida but at this time an exact date has not been set. We will notify everyone of the date and information as soon as possible.
