William Chiu's Obituary
William Chiu, 74 of Longwood, FL passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 peacefully at home.
William was born on December 8, 1950 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan to Ai-Jen and
Fa-Heng Chiu.
William graduated from the Dept. of Physics, Chung-Yuan Christian College of Science and Engineering in Taiwan. He then went on to receive a Master of Science in Systems Engineering in December of 1978 at the Florida Institute of Technology.
William worked as an engineer at Sprague Electric, Siemens, Emerson, and his last position at Persona Medical when he retired in 2012, much to the chagrin of his employer and co-workers.
William is survived by his loving wife, Fran, of forty-two years, his beloved daughter, Jennifer and two brothers, Eric and Frank.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 9001 N. Orlando Ave., Maitland, FL. Interment is private.
