Wilfredo "Pepe" Hernandez Ramos, age 70 years, of Deltona, Florida, passed away on December 6, 2020. Wilfredo was born on January 1, 1950 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the son of Abelardo and Angelica Hernandez Ramos.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carmen Ludy Hernandez Ramos and daughters Vivian Soto; son-in-law Lucas Soto, Lizbeth Hernandez, Denisse Hernandez; and daughter-in-law Racheal Rivera. Grandchildren: Charity, Lucas, Rashelle and Shaila Soto, Gavin Hernandez and Niara Rivera-Hernandez. His brothers Abelardo Hernandez, Jose "Cheo" Hernandez, and Harry Hernandez.
Wilfredo was an immensely proud Army retiree. He was a humble and loving husband, father/grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a true jack-of-all-trades, always willing to lend a helping hand.
To Wilfredo, family was #1. He always went above and beyond when it came to taking care of his family. He ensured they never went without. He was the life of the party, one that loved all holidays. He would even find excuses or reasons to celebrate or host parties in hopes to have all his loved ones together.
His grandkids will miss his thoughtfulness, waffles, and ice cream Mondays. Most of all they will miss his hugs and kisses that made them feel special and loved. We will all remember him doing things he loved like dancing, laughing, singing (badly ??), and his reignited passion for riding his Harley. We will miss his jokes, his ability to turn strangers into friends, and his passion for life.
Our lives will never be the same without him, but we take solace in knowing that he will always be in our hearts.
