Our mother was both remarkable and a blessing from our Lord. When life changed unexpectedly for our family in the 1960's, mom took care of a sick husband, four rambunctious children, and went to work to provide support for the family. She not only supported us financially, but also fed and nourished us spiritually, setting an example and teaching us daily about being Christians in all we do.
Growing up, our home was the hangout for neighborhood kids. She was not only our mother, but was fondly referred to as "Mom" by all the kids. Those that are living in the area, still call her mom.
Mom was vital part of our family, and will be greatly missed.
Mary Lou's life and lasting memory will be celebrated at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to The American Cancer Society of your choice, in Mary Lou's name.
