In Loving Memory
Walter Ralph Stalvey, 74
1951-2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Walter (Wally) Ralph Stalvey, age 74, who departed this life on November 10, 2025 at the Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando, FL. Wally was cherished by family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him. He was born on July 20, 1951, in Plant City, FL to Ralph and Rose Marie (Kupsch) Stalvey whose deaths both preceded his.

Wally enlisted in the Army in 1970 and became an Airborne Ranger serving in the Vietnam War. Returning to civilian life, he became a machinist working in various companies throughout his career. Wally's passion includes golfing, fishing and collecting coins and baseball cards. He will be missed for his sense of humor, extensive trivial knowledge and devotion to his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth, his sons, Matthew (Leticia) Stalvey, Wesley (Tara) Stalvey, his daughters, Angela (Joel) Wolfe, Megan (Sean) Sharkey, five brothers/half-brothers, Donald Stalvey, Russell Stalvey, Sam Stalvey, Jack Stalvey and Steven (Jacqueline) Stalvey, five sisters/half-sisters, Bonnie Chase and Cindy (Kevin) Daugs, Connie Stalvey, Nancy Hare and Loretta (Arnold) Crossno, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm, at The Wedding Barn, 336 E. Franklin St., Oviedo, FL 32765. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Wally's life, sharing memories and offering support to one another in this time of grief.

Wally will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
