Walter Lucius Denson affectionately known as "DUB", 76 years old transitioned on May 12, 2017 peacefully in his sleep in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Born in Orlando, FL on August 4, 1940 and raised by Eugene and Rubye Denson, he was the eldest of 6 children. Walter graduated from Jones High School Class of '58', where he was an all-star letterman athlete. Walter served in the United States Army. Walter retired from the airline industry where he worked for over 40 years. Walter was baptized in the Jehovah Witness faith in February 12, 1962.

In June of 1977, Walter met the love of his life and soulmate Sylvia Presley in Orlando, Florida. After marrying in 1979 they moved to Memphis, Tennessee, Detroit, Michigan, and finally settled in to their native state in the Central Florida area where they continued to love each other over the last 40 years and raise their daughter Angel and grandson Justyn, who was more like a son and best friend to Walter.

Walter enjoyed conversation and sharing his love with others and is already dearly missed but will never be forgotten. Walter leaves to forever cherish his loving memories (Wife) Sylvia Denson, (Daughter) Angel Brown, (Devoted Grandson) Justyn Watkins, (Grandson) Leon Lowman, (Sons) Marcus Denson, Maurice Denson, (Daughter) Shanan Glenn (Raymond), (Brothers) Royal Denson, Gordon Denson (Teresa), (Sisters) Eugenia Duncan (Buford), Ruth Dixon (Earl), Martelia Herron (Willis) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, caregivers, and friends.

Memorial Service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, May 20th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1015 Palm Springs Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
