Obituary

Dr. Wallace Berline Brown Jr, 71 formally of Chattanooga Tennessee, died at home in Casselberry, Florida on November 24, 2015. He was the son of Wallace Berline Brown Sr. and Florine Jennings Brown, both now deceased. He was born August 2, 1944 in Chattanooga Tennessee, was the oldest of 10 children. He had Six Brothers, Herbert Charles Brown, Cecil Leon Brown III, Robert Henry Brown III (Barbara), Lutrell Morris Brown II (Loretta), Howard Roscoe Brown II, Christopher Almond Brown. He had three Sisters, Carolyn Theresa Brown Martin (Charles), Barbara Anne Brown Ellison (Robert), and Helen Marie Brown Cox (Phillip). He attended the local schools and graduated from Howard High School in 1963.
He attended and graduated from Tennessee State University in 1971. While attending Tennessee State University he met and married Maxla Geiger Underwood, his wife of 47 yrs. He had 2 daughters, Gerri LaShaun Brown and Walleshia Underwood Brown and 4 grandchildren, Rachel-Rebekah Underwood Brown, Richard-Wallace Underwood Davis, Janai LaShaun White and Jah'Dai Lionidus White. He will be missed and not forgotten by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He attended and graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in June of 1980. He and his family moved to Altamonte Springs while he worked with Apopka's West Orange Farm Workers Clinic as their Head Dentist from August 1980 till October of 1982. He developed and maintained a private practice from October 1982 until October of 2007. He worked for Economy Dentures from 2010 till August 2015.

He was given the Key to the City of Chattanooga, He was a Member and past President of Jaycees in Nashville Tennessee, He was an officer in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. He was on the Board of Homes in Partnership, He was a member and past President for 2 terms (4 years) for the Host of Orlando, He was a member and past President of Delta Xi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. in Orlando. His love of riding a motorcycle, lead him in helping to charter the Orlando Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club.
