Violet D. Schanbacher, 93 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at The Church of Good Shepherd, 331 Lake Avenue, Maitland, Florida 32751 on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held in the Parrish Hall following the service.
Violet was known as Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma and loved by all. Violet was born April 26, 1922 in Scott County VA to Hobson and Irene Dougherty. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Steve Schanbacher and her brother Harold (Mildred).
She is survived by her sisters Sallie (Bill), Margaret, brother Terry (Thresa), her children Ann (Jimmie), Barb, Steve, her grandchildren; Sam, Danny, Brian, Cindy, Amy, Stephen, and her Great Granchildren, Layla, London, Vera Violet, Tripp and Delaney.
