Vincent Russo

Vincent Russo, 90, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away in St. Petersburg, FL on February 15, 2015 where he resided with his wife. He is survived by: his wife, Nancy, of 67 � years; his son, Salvatore A. Russo; daughter, Trish Paule; son-in-law, Thomas Paule, and granddaughter, Nina Paule.
Born in Sicily, Italy on October 20, 1924, where he and his family grew pistachios, almonds, and olives. They made and sold olive oil and wine. Vincent served in the Italian Army. He is survived by his two brothers, Salvatore and Gino Russo, who still reside in Sicily.
Vincent, Nancy (expecting), and their son ventured to Baltimore, Maryland in 1958 in search of a better life in America. Vincent worked in the garment industry for 30 years. After retiring, they decided to move to sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, where they lived together until his passing.
Vincent�s passions were gardening, making wine, listening to his Italian music, and most importantly, his family. He was also a member of the Elks.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on February 21, 2015 at R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home located at 3530 49th Street North in St. Petersburg at 12:00 noon. Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am. A burial service will immediately follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery located at 5233 118th Avenue North in Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his memory to Alzheimer�s Association and/or Hospice.
