We will mourn the loss of Vina J. Brock, who lived a full & diverse life, passing away Sunday December 6th 2015 at the age of 80. She will be leaving behind her daughter Pamela, and her two siblings, Melvin and Elva.
Vina had many successes as well as interests in her life. She graduated from the Prestigous Midway School in Kentucky. She then married Lindell Brock and became a devoted wife and mother of their only child Pamela, while living in Maryland. She enjoyed many interests ranging from painting to playing piano.
Her husband acquired his MBA at Washington University... and together, along with their daughter, began their own business in Data Processing. The business grew over a 20 year period with nearly 90 employees. And for all of her successes she was also challenged with health issues, surviving cancer twice, and then finally Parkinson's Disease.
She will be missed and remembered by the things she loved: weekends at their Lake House, Boating, a Die-Hard Football Fan, Chesapeake Bay Crab-cakes, as well as her extensive hat collection, earning her the name of Hat-Lady.
