Victor Kenneth Cooper, age 74, of Orlando, Florida, passed way on April 20, 2021. Victor was born in Miami, Florida, the son of Kenneth Gardner Cooper and Edith Estelle Garner.
Victor was a member of First United Methodist Church Orlando, Orange Audubon Society, and Palmetto Chapter of the Native Plant Society. He served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam and was in the U. S. Coast Guard Reserve for 6 years. After discharge from the Army, he lived in Sydney, Australia for 2 years and made several life-long friends there.
He is survived by his wife, Joan L. (Wiel) Cooper; brother-in-law Austin T. Wiel, Jr.; nephew, Kevin Barnhill; niece, Laura Williamson; cousins: Lowell B. Cooper, Thomas T. Cooper, Catherine Crerar, Walter Cooper, Robin Marsett and Jackie Marsett. He was pre-deceased by his sister Rosemary Lane.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Orlando, 142 E. Jackson Street, Orlando, FL
