Veron Budhia's Obituary
Veron Budhia passed away unexpectedly from a sudden heart attack on February 10th in Ocoee, FL at the age of 42.
He is survived by his loving wife Blair and his beautiful daughter Layla. Veron is also survived by his biological parents Sita and Venod Munusami of Richfield, MN and his sisters Seeta Budhai, Neeta Kissoon, Vita Ramlingum all of Georgia and Vidya Munusami of Richfield, MN, and his brother Vishal Munusami of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by his two precious nieces Jasmine and Zoya of Richfield, MN. He will also be sadly missed by his Mother and father in-law Lisa and Leo Stamm and his sister in-law Courtney Stamm from Ocala, FL. Veron also had countless Uncles, Aunties, cousins and friends who deeply enriched his life.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother and father Kamla Devi Budhai and Hariram Budhai of New York. He was also preceded in death by his eldest brother, Vickram Budhai of NY.
Veron was born March 9th, 1981, in Georgetown, Guyana. At the age of 3, he was adopted and moved from Guyana to NY to live with his adoptive parents, Kamla and Hariram.
In 2007 Veron met his wife Blair in FL, where they resided and spent the majority of their lives together. They were married for 13 years. In 2009 they had their daughter Layla Rayne who was the apple of her Daddy's eye.
Veron grew up learning multiple trades from his uncles. He put those skills to good use in the various jobs that he held. We often referred to him as "McGyver" because there truly wasn't anything he could not fix, even if it was with a paper clip and some duct tape.
Veron was a gentle, kind and loving man who will leave an indelible mark on the lives he touched. We will hold him in our hearts until we are able to embrace him once again.
A memorial service and Hindu ceremony are scheduled for Saturday, February 17th from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL. Pandit Atmanand will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Veron's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to DeGusipe Funeral Home at 9001 N. Orlando Ave, Maitland FL 32751.
