Vernon F. Porterfield, 76, of Connellsville, PA passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Vernon was born on April 1, 1946, in Connellsville, PA, the son of Gilbert and Helen (Ducker) Porterfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Vernon is survived by his children; Michelle (Porterfield) Kitta of Normalville, PA, Jody Porterfield and wife Trenton of Pittsburgh, Timothy Poterfield and wife Amanda of White, PA, Thomas Porterfield and wife Cindy of Mt. Pleasant, Donald Porterfield and wife Desiree of Dunbar, PA, Bill Jacobs and wife Jennifer of Uniontown, and Cathy Jacobs of Brookshire, Texas, 33 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, sister; Nancy Porterfield Miriscotta of Lawrence, PA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Dolfi Chapel, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD. Interment is private.
