Valentine Joseph Sykes, age 100 of Sanford, Florida, passed away on November 20, 2020. He was born on March 20, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Valentine Walter and Theoful (Weisner) Sykes.
He is survived by his daughters Patricia A. (Ted) Turner of Sanford and Valentina H. Cox (Dan) of Elgin, Illinois; 8 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Annunciation Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, Florida.
