Tomasita "Tomi" Montes de Gonzalez... devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, In Law, Aunt and Friend to so many, was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on December 30, 1934. She was married to Jose "Monchito" Gonzalez for 64 years, widowed in 2016, and after fourteen years of living with Alzheimer's... was called Home to God on January 26, 2017.

Tomi is survived by her three children, Alma, Beverly and Jose, their spouses Roberto, Custodio and Ana Luz, her eight grandchildren MayLynn, Tania, Roberto, Ariel, Alexis, Josean, Alexandra and Marlene, spouses, ten great-grandchildren, and her only sister, Maria.

In her youth, as the oldest child, she helped her Widowed Mom with her younger siblings. She was always ready and available to help all family members transition, as they migrated to the US, since she was fully bilingual and well educated. She married and lived a wonderful life with her hubby and children, was ALWAYS there for any, and all of us, when we needed her.... and was well loved by all of the extended family she was also close to always...

After her long battle with Alzheimer's... she is finally free and among Angels... Vuela Alto Mamita!!
