Thomas M. Dutko, 83, of 214 Doverwood Rd., passed away peacefully and comfortably in his
home of five decades on Sunday, April 2nd 2023.
Mr. Dutko was born in Schenectady, New York to Anna Wutch and Andrew J. Dutko on July 18,
1939. He attended school at Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Florida. He married Mary Dutko on
April 15, 1961 in Orlando, Florida at St. Charles Catholic Church.
Mr. Dutko honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, as a Missile Maintenance
Super-Intendent for twenty-three years. He then continued to serve his community in the Seminole
County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff for thirteen years. In his spare time, he acted as a
volunteer Fire Fighter in Floyd, New York and Casselberry, Florida.
He spent his time heavily involved in the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and as a member of
The Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Dutko is survived by his wife Mary Dutko of 62 years, his daughter Laura Wood, his four
grandkids Anna L. Jordan, Joseph T. Dutko, Brandon Wood, Shelby Dutko, and his great grandson
Zaiden Dutko. He is preceded by his parents Anna Wutch and Andrew J. Dutko, and his son Joseph
Dutko.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15th 2023, 11:00am at St. Mary Magdalene
Catholic Church 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 with Father Charlie Mitchell officiating.
