Thomas Allen Carter, 58, of Orlando, passed away on May 19, 2026, at home, after a brief illness. Tom was born in Melbourne, Florida, on June 27, 1967, to Edward G. Carter and Donna J. Carter. He is survived by his mother Donna, four brothers, one sister, three nieces, and four nephews.
Tom graduated from Eau Gallie High School and went on to receive his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. After college, he earned his private investigator license and founded his own business, Full Spectrum Legal Support. Using his investigative skills and creativity, he trained himself to assist personal injury law firms in building presentations for mediation and trial.
Tom's lifelong passions were animals (big and small), World War II history and aviation, and drawing. Tom had a very kind and compassionate nature, but could always inject wit and humor into a conversation at just the right time. He will be missed!
A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2026, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Winter Park, Florida, at 10:00 am.
A private internment will take place immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, Tom requested donations be made in his honor to Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge 501(c)(3) in Orlando!
