Thomas Osborne Burruss III November 16, 1941 to May 2, 2016
Tom was born in Crawford Long Hospital to Reba & Thomas O. Burruss November 16, 1941.
He attended Grady High School in Atlanta and after graduation went on to Young Harris College and the University of Georgia. He moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1964 where he met his wife of 49 years Beverly (Thomas) Burruss and had daughter Julie Ann Burruss. After moving to Orlando in 1972 he became an active member of the Maitland Rotary Club and subsequently the Maitland Men's Club. In addition to his civic contributions he was dedicated to St. Andrew's Chapel serving the Lord as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, his daughter Julie and his brother Jere (Helen) Burruss.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday May 7, 2016 at St. Andrew's Chapel 5525 Wayside Drive, Sanford, FL 32771 followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to St. Andrew's Chapel 5525 Wayside Drive, Sanford, FL 32771
