Thomas Jefferson Bonds, Jr . age 92, passed away on April 23, 2015, at Hospice of the Comforter. Thomas was born in Dubach, Louisiana on January 9, 1923 to Thomas Jefferson and Tressie E. Bonds.

Thomas served inn the U.S. Navy for 20 years and after retirement served another 20 years in civil service. During World War II he was stationed on the USS Stack in the Atlantic and Pacific. Other areas of military tour included Norfolk, Virginia, Charleston, South Carolina, Washington D.C., San Francisco, California, And Key West, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy E. Bonds. He is survived by his sons Thomas Bonds III (Marsha) , Bruce Bonds (Rebecca), grandsons George Bonds, Bruce Bonds, Ryan Cook, and great- grandchildren Lindsey Bonds, Alexis Bonds and Riley Bonds.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4/29/2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 am @ DeGusipe Funeral Home (Maitland Chapel)
Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Wednesday 4/29/2015 @ 1:30pm.
