Thelma Joyce (Hale) Jones (87), of Orlando Florida, died peacefully on December 24, 2025 in Hospice Care.
Thelma was born on February 5, 1938 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to Ernest and Emma Hale.
She married her high school sweetheart Richard Darriel Lamb on March 24, 1957. They had two children Mark Anthony Lamb and Sonya Dee Lamb They were married 50 years before Darriel's passing in 2008.
Thelma married Earnest (Ernie) Earl Jones in 2013.
Thelma worked as a seamstress, office manager, then later as a tax accountant and retired from this position in 2002.
Thelma is survived by daughter Sonya Hamilton, grandson Bradley Hamilton, and daughter-in-law Joyce Lamb and her grand daughters Victoria, Julianna, and Jocelyn.
She was preceded in death by husband Richard Darriel Lamb of Dawson Springs Kentucky, son Mark Anthony Lamb, and granddaughter Christy Lynn Harrell Beason.
Interment will be held in April. Plans to be determined. Please check back for details.
