Besides Thelma's home in New York, she lived and worked in Grand Junction and Craig, Colorado as a cook. She enjoyed long rides in the mountains with her husband. She loved to travel and took many trips with her sister, Eleanor. She spent several months a year at her daughter's home in Florida where she enjoyed going out to lunch and dinner with her friends. She loved to talk and could make friends with strangers. She enjoyed summer picnics in New York with friends and family where she enjoyed singing, dancing, and making everyone laugh with her sweet nature and funny stories. Her home was always filled with family, friends, good food, and a lot of laughter. Going to her grandsons sports events and cheering them on all the way was a special time for her. She could also get excited watching the S. U. basketball team. She enjoyed her Wednesday Bible study with her friends.
Thelma was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and Aunt. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew with her warm smile and caring way. She will be missed beyond words and will be forever in our hearts. We love you mom, grandma, and Aunt Thelma.
The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
