It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thanh Lan Burt at the age of 82. Lan passed away on February 26, 2025, after her battle with cancer surrounded by her family.

Lan was born on February 1,1943 in Saigon, Vietnam to Duong Duc Tran and Pan Thi Thường. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor and strength.

Lan is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard Burt and children Denise Burt and Brian Burt.

Lan is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mai Duong, her nieces and nephews, Cathy Duong, Tina Houghton, Rosa Tran, Joe Duong and Kristin Fuller. She also had several great nieces and nephews, Austine Le, Adrianna Tran, Catie Le, Andre Tran, Christopher Le, Nicholas Houghton and Jackson Fuller.

She loved and cherished her family and will be missed deeply.

In Honor of Lan, there will be a "Celebration of Life" held on March 15, 2025, from 11:30am -1pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home,1400 Matthew Paris Blvd, Ocoee, Fl 34761

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
