Terry Wayne Pringle, a long-time resident of Orlando, Florida, was born in 1955 in Seattle, Washington. Terry passed away peacefully at his home in Plant City, Florida, on January 9, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene W. Pringle and Myrtle Brooks Pringle, Terry is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Valerie Dennis Pringle; his children: Benjamin Pringle (Aurora), David Pringle, beloved daughter Rachael Pringle Harvester (Billy), and Fr. Thomas Pringle. He also leaves behind his three cherished grandsons, Micah D. Pringle, Macon B. Harvester, and Dalton W. Harvester; and his only brother, Melvin Pringle.
In 1975, Terry joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for six years until 1981. Following his military service, Terry built a successful career as a warehouse and production supervisor with Coca-Cola Bottling in Orlando, T.G. Lee Dairy, and the Walt Disney World Distribution Center.
A dedicated community member and avid baseball fan, Terry spent many years coaching Little League when his children were young. Terry was an accomplished bowler and a registered member of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). His passion and love for the sport led him to achieve several perfect games and participate in senior bowling tournaments across the country, including events in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada, as well as throughout Florida. Terry also had a deep affinity for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed attending Bike Week events regularly.
Arrangements are being handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home, under the care of director Todd DeGusipe. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, January 14th at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Ocoee. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15th at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Windermere. Terry will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens in Forest City.
Terry will be remembered as a dedicated father, a role model for his community, a loving husband, and a caring, decent, and honest man who brought joy to those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his loss.
