Terry Ray Bazler, age 69 of Lake Mary, FL, passed away at his home on June 1, 2021. Terry was born on September 25, 1951 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of Donald Lee Bazler and Doris Rae (Pullin) Bazler Waddell.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and brother Rodney Bazler and is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara (Boggs) Bazler, son Donald (Lisa) Bazler of St. Augustine, FL, daughters Gina Green of Altamonte Springs, FL and Kristi (Christopher) Thayer of Ellabell, GA., sister Donnas Bazler of Parish, FL and stepsister Debbie (John) Polk of Sanford, FL. Grandchildren Reuben Green Jr., Andre Green, Kacey Bazler, Kyle Bazler and Jade Royal.

Terry attended Portsmouth West high school in Ohio and graduated in 1969, then completed business classes in Ohio and Florida. He was a lifeguard for two summers before he was drafted into the Army in 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1973. After moving to Florida in 1978, he was in the construction industry. He then created and maintained a successful pool maintenance and service business for 30 years. His hobbies were playing and coaching softball, watching his children and grandchildren play sporting events, bicycling and weightlifting. He was a jack of all trades and a man of many talents. He was always willing and happy to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed and live forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Public Visitation will be held from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 905 S. Laurel Ave., Sanford, FL 32771
