Terri Morgan Morrell, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2015 after a very long and valiant fight with lung cancer. She was born May 29, 1938 in Atlanta, GA to Sol D. Morgan and Sadye Rich.

Terri very much enjoyed being a stay at home mom raising her three children. She loved a good laugh and had a way of speaking that never insulted anyone. Her Southern manners were impeccable which helped her husband immeasurably. In the early years she volunteered as a Pink Lady at Orange Memorial Hospital and was an accomplished realtor. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and the Temple Israel Sisterhood. While in high school, Terri won a national award in the "I speak for democracy" contest. One of her biggest joys was cruising the world with her husband, Henry.

She could make people laugh and was always very friendly and outgoing. Many of our children's friends remember her as a surrogate mother. They were always welcome in our house. Terri had excellent manners gotten from her very southern mother. She was frequently consulted for the proper thing to do. She was unique.

Terri is survived by her husband Henry Morrell of Maitland, FL, her son Scott (Kris), daughter Lisa of Casselberry, FL, and daughter Ann Olevitch (Bill) of Atlanta, GA. And her six grandchildren: Maddie, Ben, and Rachel Morrell; Mitchell Morrell; and Morgan and Jake Olevitch, and numerous family members and cousins.

Funeral services will be at DeGusipe Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10 A.M.
