LYNCH, Terrence Brons, 88 years of age, died on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Terrence was preceded in death by Mary Patricia Lynch; son, Terrence Bernard Lynch; sister, Mary Lou Haraburd and brother, James Lynch. Terry is survived by sons, Michael Lynch and Thomas Lynch; daughters, Patrice Lynch and Teresa Lynch; granddaughter, Sara Lynch. Terry was born in Downers Grove, IL, to Frank and Dolores Brons Lynch. He married Mary Patricia Lavelle in 1954, who he met at a Loyola University dance in Chicago. Terry proudly served for 20 years in and retired from the United States Air Force, where he was entrusted with our troops' safety around the world during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Major Lynch was a navigator on the KC-135 Stratotanker and was responsible for the safe return home of many pilots. Although not an outdoorsman, the one and only time he went deep sea fishing, he landed a 7 foot sailfish. Terry enjoyed bowling, hooking rugs and collecting stamps. He was known for his beautiful, original rug designs. Terry was a Fourth Degree Member of Knights of Columbus and a parishioner at the Annunciation Catholic Church. Terry's children, Patrice, Mike, Tom and Teresa would like to thank the staff at Horizon Bay Altamonte for their hospitality, care, compassion and concern, and the countless hands of love that deeply touched us and our Dad. Services will be held on Mon. 02/01/16 at 10 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs,, FL. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Family will receive friends on Sun. 01/31/16 from 2-4 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL. Funeral arrangements are being handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home (407) 695-2273. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Annunciation Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs or the Wounded Warrior Project.
