Terrence Donald Gardner, age 50, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Terry was born on June 11, 1966 in Kansas City, Kansas and was the youngest child of Walter and Eileen (Wenzl) Gardner. The family moved to Winter Park, Florida in 1968, where Terry lived most of his life. He graduated from Winter Park High School in 1984. He attended Lees McRae College and Seminole Community College, where he met the love of his life, Karalee Unruh. Terry and Karalee were married in 1990 in beautiful San Jose, California, and remained in California for several years. After starting a family, Terry and Karalee returned to central Florida, where Terry continued his work in sales and service.
Terry's greatest joys in life were his faith, his family, and encouraging and supporting others. He reminded those closest to him to love life and love God, and to enjoy every moment. He had a laugh that could fill a room, was the ultimate storyteller, loved football and was a gifted artist. He had a passion for helping others, and could make a friend of any stranger. His faith in God was the foundation of his life and his greatest source of strength.
Terry will be sorely missed by his beloved wife of 26 years Karalee; sons Christopher (Barbara), Jonathan and Michael; parents, Walter and Eileen Gardner; siblings Anne Graham, Michael Gardner (Debbie), and Mary Gardner; brother-in-law Josue Ciaramello; nieces Megan Geldner (Merrick) and Amy Gardner; nephews Joseph Gardner, Benjamin Gardner, Jeremy Ciaramello, and David Gardner and great-nephews Malachi and Mason Geldner; a large extended family and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Mark Benedict and Steven Walter and his brother-in-law Mark E. Graham.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church Chapel with a Reception to follow at the church Family Life Center. A memorial fund has been established to assist Terry's family.
