Obituary

Teresa "Terry" Cole
Born: 3/3/54 Bellefontaine, OH
Went home: 3/18/21 Orlando, FL

We lost an amazing woman on March 18, 2021, when Teresa Cole, lovingly known as Terry passed of natural causes. She was born to Russell & Ragna Cole and raised in Ohio with her siblings Jeffrey R. Cole (d), Jon E. Cole(d), Edward R. Cole (d), Connie D. Dunnigan and Paula K. Kuemel but spent the majority of her life in Hopkinsville, KY on N. O'Neal St.

Her and Charles W. Green, also known as "Wolf" began their life together there. They raised four children in that house. Tomika Godwin, Tamonika Cole, Cj Cole and Brandy Cole. While they were never officially married the vows were displayed for all to see. After 18 years they separated but Wolf never stopped caring for her or making sure she was provided for. He never stopped worrying about her and I believe he never stopped loving her.

Terry was cut from a different cloth and that fabric is no longer in production. While she did work a job here and there her main priority was caring for her family. Her children can remember the daily home-cooked meals, the fresh baked cookies and cakes ready available for snacking and the home baked goods that were always dropped off at school for birthdays and holidays.

Her love for her life partner and their children carried over to their grandchildren. Kiara Majors, Taejiona Weaver, Xiana Godwin, Janiya Jones and Bella Cole. Doing whatever she could to put a smile on their faces. Even if that included candy and snacks before it was time to go home! She will surely be missed by them all.

As time went on and her steps slowed, her hands were not as strong as they used to be and her vision not as sharp as it once was....her love for her family never faltered. So when it came time for the roles to be reversed she moved to Florida, land of endless sunshine and palm trees. I had the honor of trying to reciprocate the love she had shown me my whole life. Even though it was only for a few months, I am very thankful for the chance.

When it came time for her to enter into her rest she was surrounded by the ones she loved the most. She was comfortable and at peace. Her absence is felt daily and that void will never be filled.....she will forever be loved.

Services are pending at this time.
