Suzanna C. Thesing, 59, of Winter Springs, FL passed away on September 13, 2019. Ms. Thesing was born on April 14, 1960 in Abington, PA to Theodore and Virginia Thesing. She is preceded in death by her father, Theodore James Thesing and brother, Walter Thesing, and survived by:

Sons - David T. Sonnie and Kevin Sonnie
Sisters- Karla Spicer, Joanne Anderson, and Helena Thesing
Mother - Virginia Margaret Thesing

Suzanna was a dedicated Computer Science Teacher who inspired many students during her career. Suzanna made time not only to help students in her classroom, but throughout their middle & high-school years and even beginning college. She touched many students lives as evidenced by the following: "Your light brightened the lives of so many kids, mine included" - Yasmin; "She always seemed to see the silver lining and turn those lemons into lemonade" - Laurie; "You have always been a great influence, pushing me to challenge myself and allowing me to step outside of my comfort zone" - Stephanie; "I smile when I think of her. She is funny, clever, with an upbeat spirit" - Diane. There are so many emails, texts, and calls from people that Suzanna touched in some way. She is truly missed.

During her free time she spent her days with her dog, Polar, whether it be walking him, training him, or at agility competitions. She also loved the beach and the Kennedy Space Center. She enjoyed traveling and was able to accomplish a life-long wish of visiting the Vatican in Rome.

We are asking that people please contribute to the Winter Park High School Foundation where a Suzanna Thesing Scholarship has been set up to help a student continue their dream in lieu of flowers or gifts.
