Susanne "Mo" Marie Reel, age 72, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 13, 2021. Susanne was born on January 6, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of John L. & Sandra (Hettema) Hodgson.

Susie loved nature and all of it's wonderful creatures, rescuing baby raccoons and birds and stray dogs and cats. She was especially fond of all tortoises and successfully raised several large exotic ones.

She enjoyed collecting antique dolls and toys and memorabilia.

She had a real talent for creating amazing and fun costumes for Halloween and frequently walked away with prizes for her efforts.

She was very social and loved sharing music and dancing and Rock-n-Roll concerts, especially the Rolling Stones.

She developed many dear friends during her Event Planning work with the Firefighters Council of Central Florida.

She shared a love of the beach, the ocean and fishing, with friends and family...especially her husband and son.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Steven Reel; her son Keith Brennan; her daughter Carey Brennan; her granddaughter Alexis Ragsdale; and her sister Kathie Smith.

A graveside service, limited to immediate family, will be held on January 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

When it is safe to gather together again, we will plan a Celebration of Sue's Life for all of her friends and family to attend.
