Susan Hotary, age 97, of Deland, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Susan was one of nine children of Carl and Elizabeth of Ohio and was the last remaining sibling.

Susan was born on July 4, 1920. She was married to Charles Hotary in 1939 until he died in 1975. Her passion was for her husband and her family. She leaves cherished memories with their seven loving children, Charles (deceased) (Diane), David (Sharlene), Suzann (Carl), Mark (Sandy), Cathy, Mike and Lesa (Jeff). In addition there are ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Deland, Florida on Thursday February 1, 2018 at 10:00am. We invite you to stay for a reception immediately after mass to share in celebrating her life.
