Beloved husband, brother, father, Pop Pop, entertainment executive and entrepreneur, Stuart H Sherman III, better known as Skip Sherman, passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 22, 2024 at the age of 68. He joins his mother, father and loyal canine companions in heaven where their laughter and love can be felt from earth.
Skip was born July 5, 1955 in Atwater, CA to Theresa and Stuart Sherman Jr. He was the middle of three siblings, survived by sister, Tesa Bush and brother, Ritz Sherman. Growing up a military brat, Skip began his world travels at a young age, developing his passion for adventure along the way. Skip is loved by so many different friends and colleagues spanning from the US to Abu Dhabi, Singapore to Israel, and many more locations in between. However, his most cherished time was always at home with his beautiful wife, Gwyn Sherman, dog, Sheba, two sons, Matt and Jett Sherman, daughter, Alex Seib, and two grandchildren.
Skip always provided unconditional love and hearty laughter where ever he was, even in the hardest of times. His memory will live on in everyone he touched and his life will be celebrated every day. A Celebration of Life for close friends and family will be held in the Chapel at the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina in Lake Waccamaw, NC, built by his parents and where they have been laid to rest.
