Steven Lee Hays, loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather passed away on April 28th, 2021 in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Steve was born in Leesburg, Florida on October 22nd, 1959 to Erolene & Henry Hays. He grew up with two siblings and their dog Chico. Steve enjoyed an active lifestyle growing up, riding bikes, swimming, and hanging out with his friends. He started working alongside his Dad in the construction business when he was 16 years old as a punishment for smoking and would eventually own his own construction company. He loved to spend time outside with his family and was famous for his Saturday morning breakfasts. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, discussing space, swimming, and traveling the world. Steve was always joking and brought laughter with him wherever he went.
He loved being Dad to his two daughters and was thrilled when he had a grandson. He dedicated his life to giving to the people he loved, and worked hard in order to provide anything his family wanted. He will be truly missed by all who knew him and remembered as a kind, loving, generous man.
He is survived by his wife, Paola Hays, his two daughters, Ashley & Ariel Hays; along with his brother, sister, grandchild, and many other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Hilarity for Charity in Steven's name.
