Steven Matthew Fountain, 65, of Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Bayfront Hospital. Steve was born August 6, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to parents Eugene and Doris (Davis) Fountain. Steve was a retired plumber who was truly a jack of all trades. He adored spending time at the park with his granddaughters, Steve was a genuine family man. He often returned to his hometown of Toledo to visit with friends and family. Steve took pleasure in fishing, boating and socializing and he was consistently willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Steve always had a story to tell and brought smiles to many people. He was a loving husband, father, brother, papa and grandpa. Steve is survived by his wife Paula (Mitchell) Fountain, daughters Tracy Cole and Krystin McGill and son Christopher (Fountain) Roth, grandchildren, Nick, Michael, Crystal, Wayne Junior, Charity, Ryleigh and Teaghan, a host of nieces and nephews, as well as thirteen great grandchildren and one on the way. He also had five brothers and one sister, Tanya, Gene, Doug, Dennis, Jerry and Jeff. Steve is preceeded in death by his daughter Jessica and his parents.
