Steve Raymond Szymanski, age 48, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Sept. 18, 2021. Steve was born on October 10, 1972, in Hackensack, New Jersey, the son of Raymond and Margie (Lawrence) Szymanski.

Steve was always willing to lend a hand to anyone, his smile and laughter brightened every room into which he walked. A lover of animals, music and children, Steve especially enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews and making them pancakes and joking with them constantly. He had the biggest heart and was so loving to his family and friends. Steve touched many lives and was very special to his many friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother Margie and is survived by his beloved and cherished son Layne Szymanski; his father Raymond; sisters Linda Cruz, Laura (Dave) Mazzella; nieces and nephews: Serenity and Marc Cruz; Nicholas, Dylan, and Kate Mazzella; aunt and uncle Margie and Danny Szymanski; his cousin Danette (Michael) Fuller and their daughters Olivia and Ariella.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Steve's memory may be made to an animal charity of your choice.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Steve's birthday, Sunday, October 10, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home, Maitland, FL, with a service following at 1:00 PM.
