Stephen Lawrence Steingass
March 18, 1956 - May 24, 2023

Stephen Lawrence Steingass, 67, of Winter Park passed away unexpectedly on May 24th at home. Beloved husband of Julie Steingass for 43 years, loving father of Heather (Steingass) Norton (Elizabeth) and Rachel Steingass, devoted brother of Sue Steingass (Carlos Naudon), Henry Steingass (Lynne, nee Akerson), Anne Steingass, and Sister-in-Law, Kim Christoefl (Walter). Devoted uncle to Enrique Naudon (Christine Hauer), Ignacio Naudon, Jack Steingass, Evan Steingass, Christian Christoefl, and Trevor Christoefl. Steve was preceded in death by his brothers Mark Steingass and E. Peter Steingass Jr., and loving parents, Irene (Rodgers) Steingass and Eric Steingass.

Steve will be remembered for his love of family, his smile, his humor and laughter, and his friendship. He will further be remembered for his love of art, his love of nature, his love of natural Florida, and for his service to the community, especially the homeless.

Visitation will be held on June 22nd from 6pm to 7pm in the Chapel of St. Margaret Mary Church. A Funeral Mass is planned for June 23, 2023 at 10am at Saint Margaret Mary Church. A reception will follow at Casa Feliz. Burial will take place at a later date.
