Obituary

Steve Coffman, age 72, died on Wednesday, October 16th at his home in Sanford, Florida. He was survived by his children David Joiner, Matthew Covington, and Kimberly Miller, and his grandchildren Charlotte, Amanda, Kara, Stephen and Alex, and his two great-grandchildren Hunter and Caroline. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Kathleen, his brother Billy, his wife Sara, and his daughter Angel.

Steve was a 22-year veteran of the Florida Army National Guard, and retired from the Seminole County Public Works Department. He was a devout Christian and had a deep love for Seminole Community Church, where he worshiped regularly. He was devoted and loyal to his family, friends, and church family. Steve had the heart of a servant, he never saw someone in need without stopping to ask, "How can I help?" His love of God and people was unmatched and everyone who knew him loved him. He was most proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Steve was also a devoted fan of the Miami Dolphins. He was a gifted mechanic and could fix just about anything, and he enjoyed playing Bingo with his friends every week.
