Stefan Skibicki, 88 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Mr. Skibicki was born on August 8, 1926 in Ozetwertnia, Poland . Stefan, better known as Steve to family and friends, is survived by his wife, Evelyn, his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and John Craig of Venice,FL., and his son and family, Steve and Susan Skibicki, Rachel, Stefan and Daniel of Orlando, Fl. He is also survived by his brothers Eddie and Frank Skibicki and sisters Jane Baker and Irene Fieldhouse, all of New Jersey, as well as family members in Poland.
Steve was a child of World War II and was relocated to the United States after being liberated from the German work camps. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served during the Korean War. After an Honorable Discharge, he entered the construction industry as a builder/remodeler for the rest of his working life. He retired to Florida in 1989 and has lived in Orlando since 1993.
